Cannibalism in Granada featured on France Inter’s Journal de 13h, on French public radio
Le journal de 13h du week-end, the news programme broadcast by France Inter, one of France’s leading public radio stations, has featured research on evidence of cannibalistic practices documented in several caves in Granada. The study, published in the Journal of Archaeological Science, was led by Dr Palmira Saladié, a researcher at IPHES-CERCA.
The programme interviewed Dr Francesc Marginedas, a researcher at the University of Viena and an associated researcher at IPHES-CERCA, who discussed the study’s main findings and placed them in the broader context of other evidence of cannibalistic practices documented in European prehistory.
