Laia Pallejà, director of CERCA, visits the sites in the Sierra de Atapuerca

Accompanied by the director of IPHES-CERCA, Dra. Marina Mosquera and by the head of research, Dra. Isabel Cáceres, has seen the work carried out by the research and technical staff.

Aquest dimecres, la Laia Pallejà, directora dels centres CERCA, ha visitat els jaciments de la sierra de Atapuerca.

Acompanyada per la directora de l’IPHES-CERCA i coinvestigadora principal del Projecte Atapuerca, la Dra. Marina Mosquera, i de la cap de recerca del nostre centre, la Dra. Isabel Cáceres, ha visitat els jaciments coordinats pel personal investigador de l’IPHES-CERCA (Sima del Elefante, Galería, Gran Dolina, Cueva Fantasma i Mirador) i ha conegut la recerca multidisciplinar que s’hi duu a terme.

La visita es va iniciar el dimarts a la tarda, quan també acompanyada per la Marina Mosquera i per la Isabel Cáceres, van visitar el Museo de la Evolución Humana (MEH) on va ser rebuda per la seva directora gerent, l’Aurora Martín. Més tard va assistir a la taula rodona “Pasado, presente y futuro de Homo antecessor” que es va fer a la sala d’actes del propi MEH a càrrec de la Dra. Marina Mosquera, la Dra. María Martinón, directora del CENIEH i l’Aurora Martín.
