A big hug to our colleague Vanessa Altès

Vanessa Altès is temporarily stepping away from IPHES-CERCA to focus on what matters most right now: her daughter, Carlota.

As she has shared, she is beginning a new stage dedicated to studying, researching and exploring every possible path towards a medical solution. It is a difficult decision, certainly, but undoubtedly the right one. There are moments in life when priorities become clear: love and care for those we cherish most take center stage.

The whole team would like to send a huge hug to Vanessa and Pedro, and a very big kiss to Carlota. We know she has parents full of love and remarkable strength.

We also want them to know that they have a family here. The IPHES family will always stand by their side, ready to help and to move mountains whenever needed.
