The Instinto Animal program on Radio 5 has reported on the discovery of a new species and genus of mole at the Camp dels Ninots site in Caldes de Malavella (Girona). Adriana Linares, predoctoral researcher at the Universitat Rovira i Virgili and IPHES-CERCA and lead author of the study published in the journal Scientific Reports and IPHES-CERCA, and Dr. Marc Furió, professor at the Department of Geology at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) and researcher at the Catalan Institute of Paleontology Miquel Crusafont (ICP-CERCA), have spoken.
