Masterchef Celebrity records a program at the site of the Sierra de Atapuerca

The RTVE MasterChef Celebrity program has recorded one of its tests at the sites of the Sierra de Atapuerca. The episode, broadcast on Monday, September 29 at 10:50 p.m. on La 1 and RTVE Play, is part of the tenth edition of the popular television talent show, which in Spain attracts an audience of approximately one million viewers.

In addition to the sites, the program includes images of the Museum of Human Evolution and the city of Burgos, offering viewers a complete view of the rich cultural heritage of the area.

During the broadcast, the heritage and scientific importance of Atapuerca is explained and what the diet of our ancestors was like. The dishes prepared by the contestants are inspired precisely by this prehistoric diet: under this premise, the teams prepare a contemporary menu based exclusively on ingredients that were part of the diet of the first humans, which is then tasted by the guests invited to the program.
