Contar a las mujeres de la Prehistoria: algunas experiencias de divulgación científica

Seminar of Dr. Marga Sánchez Romero, professor of Prehistory in the Department of Prehistory and Archeology at the University of Granada

On Thursday, March 13, as part of the activities organized by the IPHES-CERCA Gender and Equality Commission on the occasion of International Women's Day (#8M), we had the honor of receiving Dr. Marga Sánchez Romero, professor of Prehistory at the Department of Prehistory and Archaeology at the University of Granada, who gave us the conference: "Contar les dones de la Prehistòria: algunes experiències de divulgació científica".

Her research focuses on the archaeology of women and gender relations, the archaeology of childhood and the body. In addition, she is an outstanding scientific communicator, as reflected in her numerous publications and books, as well as her participation in the media (e.g. RTVE program “El Condensador de Fluzo”). She is also part of the PastWomen team (https://www.pastwomen.net/index), a collaborative project that seeks to give visibility to research on women's material culture.
