Dr. Amèlia Bargalló offers a prehistory workshop to the students of Escola Codinetes de la Nou de Gaià

How does a Homo sapiens skull differ from that of an Australopithecus afarensis? And these differences, what cognitive changes do they entail? What were the tools used by our ancestors?

These and other questions are what, last week, Dra was able to answer Dra. Amèlia Bargalló to the students of Escola Codinetes (la Nou de Gaià) during a workshop on human evolution.

This activity is part of the "IPHES in the Schools" socialization program which, for 12 years, has been promoted by IPHES-CERCA

The main motivation? Bring prehistory and human evolution closer to the students of centers mainly in the Tarragona region, and promote scientific vocations!

Aquesta acció de l’IPHES-CERCA afavoreix els Objectius de Desenvolupament Sostenible (ODS) 4 (Educació de qualitat).
