Defensa de la Tesi Doctoral de la Dra. Almudena Martínez titulada "Ecological traits of the iberian herpetofauna during the Plio-Pleistocene: Body size and species richness in relation to climate"

El passat dilluns 27 de febrer es va dur a terme l'acte de defensa de la Tesi Doctoral de la Dra. Almudena Martínez titulada "Ecological traits of the iberian herpetofauna during the Plio-Pleistocene: Body size and species richness in relation to climate", la qual ha estat dirigida pel Dr. Hugues-Alexandre Blain, investigador de l'IPHES-CERCA. 
La Dra Martínez ha analitzat les restes herpetològiques dels jaciments d'Atapuerca, Orce i Camp dels Ninots.
La defensa d'aquesta tesi doctoral es va fer davant del tribunal composat per la Dra. Gloria Cuenca-Bescós, Catedràtica de Paleontologia del Departamento de Ciencias de la Tierra de la Universidad de Zaragoza, el Dr. Jordi Agustí, investigador ICREA a l'IPHES-CERCA y el Dr. Miguel Ángel Rodríguez, Catedràtic del Departamento de Ciencias de la Vida de la Universidad de Alcalá de Henares.
