El Proyecto Atapuerca fue galardonado con el Premio Muncunill a la Innovación 2022

Last Thursday, the Atapuerca Project was awarded the Muncunill Prize for Innovation 2022 in the State Cultural Category, awarded by the Terrassa City Council.

Marina Mosquera attended the award ceremony, and upon receiving it she remarked that the award was "a recognition of the joint work of many people over many years". He also recalled how important it was, at the beginning of the project, for the research staff to talk to fellow citizens to explain their work in the Sierra.

A video was also shown at the event where Eudald Carbonell explained the beginnings of the project and the main archaeological milestones.
