Arqueología de la violencia franquista contra las mujeres

Seminar by Dr. Laura Muñoz-Encinar, investigadora Ramón y Cajal a l’Instituto de Ciencias del Patrimonio (INCIPIT-CSIC)

We had the pleasure of attending the lecture by Dr. Laura Muñoz-Encinar, a Ramón y Cajal researcher at the Institute of Heritage Sciences (INCIPIT-CSIC), titled “Archaeology of Francoist Violence Against Women,” organized as part of the events for International Women's Day (8M).

It was a profoundly moving talk for everyone in attendance. A harsh narrative that leaves no one indifferent, yet (necessarily) invites reflection. Knowing this history is essential to understanding the past, to ensuring we do not forget, and to remembering that today's actions can have very serious consequences tomorrow.

In times like these, such a lecture is more necessary than ever. That is why we want to share it with all of you.

Thank you very much, Laura, for your time, your dedication, and your work!

You can watch the lecture through this link.

The activities commemorating the International Day of Women have been promoted by the RRI Commission and the Equality Committee, within the framework of the actions planned in the IPHES-CERCA Equality Plan and in the context of its HR Excellence in Research (HRS4R) recognition.
