IPHES-CERCA researchers and Universitat Rovira i Virgili (URV) lecturers Marina Lozano and Maria Joana Gabucio will take part on Monday, 21 September in a new edition of the “Recerca pel canvi” science micro-talks, an event aimed at adult audiences to be held at the Castell del Cambrer in Reus as part of the European Researchers’ Night.

Marina Lozano will give the talk “The diet that made us human”, exploring how the study of our ancestors’ diets can provide key insights into human evolution. Joana Gabucio will present “An archaeologist rummaging through rubbish”, an archaeological perspective on how humans have generated and managed waste since the Palaeolithic.

The micro-talks are organised by the Institut de Recerca Biomèdica IRBCatsud and form part of the European Researchers’ Night programme, whose main event will take place at Plaça Corsini in Tarragona, on Friday, 25 September in the afternoon and Saturday, 26 September in the morning (we will provide more information).
