Cristian Sánchez defends his Doctoral Thesis “Early Pleistocene climate variability and its role in shaping the first hominin dispersals into and across Europe: a palaeoecological approach based on amphibians and reptiles”

This morning, at 3:00 p.m., in the Sala Abric Romaní at IPHES-CERCA and within the framework of the PhD Programme in Quaternary and Prehistory at Universitat Rovira i Virgili, the public defence of the doctoral thesis “Early Pleistocene climate variability and its role in shaping the first hominin dispersals into and across Europe: a palaeoecological approach based on amphibians and reptiles”, carried out by Cristian Sánchez, took place.

The thesis was supervised by Dr Hugues A. Blain, researcher at IPHES-CERCA, and Dr Ana Fagoaga, researcher at ICT-FCUP.

The examination committee was composed of Prof. Gloria Cuenca-Bescós, from the Universidad de Zaragoza, Dr Rosa Huguet, researcher at IPHES-CERCA, and Dr José Alberto Cruz Silva, from SECIHTI-CIPAQ.
