Eudald Carbonell takes part in the 25th ACAVe Forum with the lecture “Homo Turísticus and its evolution”

On 29 September, archaeologist Eudald Carbonell delivered the lecture “Homo Turísticus and its evolution” at the 25th ACAVe Forum, held in the Paranimf of the Barcelona Provincial Council.

In his talk, Carbonell offered a humanistic and evolutionary perspective on the contemporary traveller, linking the origins and evolution of our species with the current role of tourism as a tool for knowledge and interconnection between societies.

This year’s Forum, marking its 25th anniversary, reaffirmed its position as the leading meeting point for the tourism sector in Spain, with lectures and debates on the major challenges and opportunities facing the industry.
